Instrumentation and Controls Technician Manager (I&C)
Job Title: I&C Manager

EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- 5-10 years of experience, including time spent in supervisory or leadership roles, with a strong understanding of the technical aspects of instrumentation, control systems, and team management.
- Extensive experience in managing instrumentation and controls operations,
ideally within Industrial Energy, Power Generation, or Utility sectors. - A high level of proficiency in personal computers and related software

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) team, including I&C
technicians and support staff. - Develop and implement training programs to enhance the technical skills and
expertise of team members in control systems and instrumentation. - Ability to work on-site in a power plant environment, performing hands-on tasks
in the field solely or with the Cokenergy team ensuring tasks are carried out
efficiently and safely. - Plan, prioritize, and oversee the maintenance of process automation systems to

- Degree - Engineering Discipline (ME or EE preferred).
- Experience - Fifteen (15) years of industrial energy production or power industry experience including a minimum of ten years management experience.
- Knowledge - Demonstrated understanding of steam power plant O&M, plant engineering, thermodynamics, contracts, industrial processes, plant performance, boiler operations, and plant business functions. Deep familiarity with boilers, steam turbines, controls, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, and water systems. Analyze and interpret data to diagnose and resolve operational issued and make sound, cost-effective judgements.
- Customer Relationships - Ensure a high level of custom satisfaction and ensure contracts are being adhered. Effectively work with host industrial customers at a hight, mid and operations level.
- Business - Understanding of accounting, contract administration, procurement and plant administration functions. Ability to negotiate contracts for sale or purchase of goods and services. Ability to calculate the financial return (NP, IRR) or process improvements and capital projects.
